Is there anyway to keep squirrels out of your garden?

Dogs. Our squirrels are running scared.

Some people put a fake goose in their garden to scare them off, too.Is there anyway to keep squirrels out of your garden?
Squirrels are determined critters, and they don't give up easily.

1. Suggest that you prevent them from getting into your bird feeder by attaching a piece of aluminum dryer vent pipe below the feeder on the pole. Attach the pipe with wire - snip the ends of the pipe both on the top as on the bottom about 2 -2 1/2 inches deep and bend these snipped ends inward. This prevents the squirrels from climbing up the pole into your feeder.

2. Have some kind of a catch plate below the feeder to prevent food from falling to the ground.

3. Check in a pet or feed store if there are sprays available for keeping squirrels away. They have these repellents for cats, dog and deer, and we had to use them all out here in the country.

4. For the winter you might want to put up a squirrel feeder with corn, and this way they might not go after your bird feeder so much.

Good luck.Is there anyway to keep squirrels out of your garden?
A Red Ryder BB gun works well! My dogs like to chase them also.
You can buy a spray to use around the perimeter. It's called doggy no or something like that. I think it's some kind of pepper spray.
feed them in a differnt location
Get a cat it helped me/
Yes, you can buy dried blood meal at the nursery...animals wont cross where they think a dead animal is...sprinkle lightly cause if it rains you must do it again...keeps rabbits out too.
