High Brass #6

You have fewer pellets than 7,or 8 and are able to reach out a little farther. With my eye sight if I can see them I can shoot them.Need help for Squirrel Hunting!?
6 ,# 7 1/2 shot or anything smaller (more pellets) Its doesn't take very much to kill a squirrel. I would assume that any shot coming out of a 12GA would kill a squirrel if it hit him. Wouldn't be able to tell you the best one for taking them if you plan on eating them maybe 7 1/2 or smaller.
All the answers border on fact. Go get you the cheapest 6 shot in 2 3/4 length (if you gun eats them well) you can find. Don't go any lighter than 6 or you'll be breaking your teeth on the smaller shot, which stays in the outer layers of meat. So avoid 7 1/2, 8 and 9 shot. If #4 or 5 is on sale they work fine also as long as you don't shoot them from 10 feet away. I do use #5 game loads, but shoot mine with a .410. Your 12 ga. will consistently harvest squirrels, so have fun and be safe.
6 or 7 shot should do just fine, you will want to make sure to not use a full choke or you won't be able to tell what it was before you shot it.
number 6 they reach out and get them when they way up their and you could shoot 2 3/4 inch shells instead of 3 inch so your shoulder dont kill you at the end of the hunt
try a no. 5 or 6
